Welcome to our Community Pages! We are the Chugach Optional Elementary Community Assembly and the Chugach Educational Corporation!

Chugach Educational Corporation: The Chugach Educational Corporation (CEC) is a non-profit organization, operated by a Board of Directors, that facilitates community discussions and manages finances with community input. Learn more about the CEC here.

Community Assembly: The Community Assembly is our school’s support and advisory organization, our version of a “PTA”. All parents, caregivers, staff and students associated with Chugach Optional are automatically part of our Community Assembly! The purpose of the Community Assembly is to foster a spirit of community and belonging among Chugach Optional families and to work cooperatively to define and implement the goals of the school. Community Assembly Meetings (CAMs) occur monthly and all Community Assembly members are welcome.
